Vitaliy Reutsky is a professional pan flute musician. Based in Montreal, Canada, he plays an expanded version of the classical Romanian-style pan flute (Nai), a version which increases the instrument’s range and gives added overtones. Full of new musical ideas, Vitaliy Reutsky is both innovative and creative and produces his own musical shows, playing the 4 pan flutes - soprano, alto, tenor and bass. He also plays with other musicians for special projects.

A major part of Vitaliy's repertoire consists of innovative arrangements of existing music, coupled with a formidable playing technique. His recordings range from Baroque and Classical works to Folk and Popular music, including Christian and Christmas Tunes.

Since the year 2000, concert tours on board different cruise ships have led him with various ensembles and casts around the globe (North and South America, Asia, Australia, South Africa and Europe). Enthusiastic audiences have discovered and learned to appreciate the special character
of the pan flute, thanks to his performances.

Vitaliy Reutsky adapts his concerts to (the) audience, keen to add a touch of local colour to his music and always speaking a few words of introduction in the local language. He speaks fluent English, French, Russian and Romanian.
